Diamond Packaging Introduces Recipe for American Craft Collection

Inspired by America’s 250th birthday, this collection showcases packaging decoration techniques through iconic American imagery.

Diamond Packaging launched the Recipe for American Craft, a limited-edition desk reference collection inspired by 250 years of American innovation, ingenuity, and craftsmanship.

Designed for brand owners, packaging designers, and marketers, it combines iconic American imagery with award-winning printing and converting techniques that demonstrate how visual design, specialty decoration, and craftsmanship can elevate packaging performance. It also celebrates the creative spirit that continues to shape American brands and manufacturing.

Dennis Bacchetta, Marketing & Sustainability Director at Diamond Packaging, said:

“America’s 250th anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship that have defined our nation. Recipe for American Craft™ transforms those themes into a practical design resource that reveals how different combinations of materials, decoration, and finishing techniques can create memorable packaging experiences.”

The collection was produced using Clearwater ReMagine paperboard containing 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) fiber and manufactured with 100% wind energy in a Carbon Neutral (Scope 1 and Scope 2), Zero Waste to Landfill facility, reflecting Diamond’s commitment to combining innovation and visual excellence with environmental responsibility.

Housed in a premium paperboard recipe box, the collection features 20 4” x 6” recipe cards, each highlighting a different American landmark, cultural icon, or symbol of innovation. The cards showcase a carefully curated combination of decorative effects, enabling users to see and feel how different coatings, foils, embossing, and paperboard substrates influence shelf impact and consumer perception.

More than a commemorative promotion, Recipe for American Craft is designed as a year-round reference tool packaging professionals can use for inspiration, material selection, and packaging development long after the 250th anniversary has passed.
